About Me

Hi!

My name is Andreas Wöhle, most people call me Andi. I am 33 years old, living in Berlin, Germany. I spend all my years doing different kind of sports. Movement has always been part of my life. In 2007 I discovered parkour & freerunning.

I watched a video on YouTube and was fascinated from the movement. I immediately went out with a good friend of mine and we jump over walls and climbed on garages without knowing the technique. I wanted to know more about parkour & freerunning so I started watching tutorials online and trained almost every day. After a while I started to visit events (Jams) and got in contact with a lot of other parkour enthusiasts. The coaches saw huge potential in my movement when I visited their workshops. Besides parkour I also did fencing really well. At some point I had to decide between fencing and parkour. It was a hard decision but after a while I noticed that I wanted to be one of the best parkour athletes in the world. It didn’t take long and I became a member of one of the biggest and the most skilled parkour & freerunning teams in the world, Team Ashigaru.

Next to my training I perform on stage, in front of the camera and do stunts with my team. For example Tarzan 3D. Also performing in TV-Shows like Ninja Warrior Germany (3 times finalist), Klein gegen Groß and the award winning gameshow Catch.

We travel around the world, competing in parkour competitions, training in different countries and inspire people all over. I got second in the North American parkour championships in 2018. Third in men’s Skill Apex International. Besides i competed in Prague at the in Motion Academy and got second in section Skill and third in section speed.

In 2019 i got sponsored by “Our House”.. Which is a subsidiary of the German Sports Foundation. They set up scholarship-like support for non-Olympic and non-organized athletes in order to reach the hearts and minds of millennials.
